Where and Who Should I Talk to About Possible Depression ?

Question by Everyones Entitled To My Opinion: Where and who should I talk to about possible depression ?
[rewrite]First off, I have no insurance.
And I have been on antidepressants in the past and they did wonders for my moods, and improved a lot in my life. I’m starting to think I might actually need to be on them and would like to talk to someone again about getting on them again. I had someone refer me to somewhere last time. Now, I’d like to know where I should be looking for myself.

you should talk to your local doctor, they will be able to prescribe you right medication to control your depression if they think that is suitable. they will assess how you are feeling and be able to offer the correct treatment to get you feeling better again.

There are government agencies who provide the types of treatment which are necessary for depression which someone in your situation cannot afford on the outside.

When you are treated by these agencies, you will also be able to obtain your medications at no cost to you since you do not, as you have stated, have any insurance at all.

Do not be shocked at the time in which it takes to obtain this help from these agencies. They have many people who are under their care and a shortage of mental health professional who will be able to provide this type of treatment.
