Uppers as in synthetic methamphetamine/cocaine?
If so, the physical symptoms should only last about two days.
Mental symptoms will last about longer.
My DOC is heroin/cocaine and detoxing for me was really horrible.
He should be taken to a detox facility, of course they may not accept him because of his DOC.
They usually only accept people who are alcoholics/benzo addicts because those are the only two withdrawals that can kill you.
And detox/inpatient patients quit cold turkey too.
He should be fine.
Give him some Tylenol.
He will be extremely restless though.

IF THINGS GET REALLY BAD CALL 911.
