As a recovered alcoholic for virtually sixteen yrs I know that any drug taken that alters psychological state, with the exception of brain chemistry stability medicines, is perpetrating the addict mentality as properly as the addictive behaviors of emotion avoidance and escape from actuality.Comprehensive abstinence is the only experienced treatment to steer clear of the response of physical craving connected with chemical/alcoholic addiction.
Can I Pass a Polygraph by Not Freaking Out and Controlling My Breathing?
Question by : Can I pass a polygraph by not freaking out and controlling my breathing?
Basically I served 9 years in the Marine Corps, I’ve done 4 combat tours..had some issues with depression, alcohol abuse, drug abuse but received treatment through the military…I’ve been sober for almost 3 years now and one of the questions on the polygraph test is “have you done any illegal drugs in the past 10 years”….what if I come into the polygraph thinking that that was my old life and i havent done anything like that in my new life….would that work??? I’m not trying to be shady, I know I made mistakes and everything but I really want to be a police officer, I feel like i’m going to be automatically eliminated if I tell them what happened and I have a family to take care of…please no harsh responses..

RE: A Wrist Band That Indicates That Substitute Blood Is Not to Be Used on a Patient?
Question by anmlprht: RE: A wrist band that indicates that substitute blood is not to be used on a patient?
I read about a substitute for blood that was used in some hospitals on a
trial basis. Unless the patient was wearing a wrist band that indicated
that the substitute blood was not to be used, the hospital had a legal
right to use the artificial blood without notifying the patient.
Where can these wrist bands can be obtained?
google “artificial blood” and there is an article about it from CNN.
This article is from 2004. I can’t find the more recent article that mentions the wrisbands.
Information just found. PolyHeme produced by Northfield Labs in Northfield,Illinois.
