Since 1969, the first year Gallup asked about illegal drug use, Americans have grown increasingly more concerned about the effects of drugs on young people. For instance, in 1969, 48% of Americans told Gallup that drug use was a serious problem in their community. In 1986, a majority of Americans, 56%, said that the government spent “too little” money fighting drugs. By 1995, 31% said drug use was a “crisis” and an additional 63% said it was “a serious problem” for the nation as a whole.TAKE CARE ALWAYS………

Why Is Marijuana Addiction a Problem?

[rewrite]Lately, I’ve been at odds with the Saint Mary Jane. I know I have an addiction, because I think about it every day. But at the same time, no matter how long I go without (currently sober/abstinent for about a week – not my first attempt at ‘quitting’), I still want to smoke.

The fact is, I love the herb – and always will. It feels good, I get to laugh at seemingly non-humorous events, and even brings me closer to others who also hit the pipe (cannabis culture scene). It’s a party just about every time. So what’s so wrong with that?
