My Sister Was Recently Diagnosed With Psychosis. How Can I Get Her to Talk?
Question by Curious Student: My sister was recently diagnosed with psychosis. How can I get her to talk?
[rewrite]Background: Since her last hospitalization at Harborview Medical Center on July 23rd, I noticed that my 26-year-old sister has quit talking to everyone in the family. She doesn’t even sing like she used to, refuses to take a bath, wants to stay in bed all day, and refuses to talk.
The reason she was hospitalized was that she starved herself for nearly 30 days and denied herself water for about 5 days. She had to given fluids and nutrients via a tube. According to the doctors, she was near death despite being 175 lbs.

Are There Any Rehabs Where I Can Bring My Dog?
Question by Kendra W: Are there any rehabs where i can bring my dog?
[rewrite]I’ve hit rock bottom and know I need help. I’m looking for a recovery center that will adress all my needs: mental/personality dosorders, depression, self mutalation, anorexia, drug dependency, etc. I’d like it to be close to my home in arizona, but I’ll go anywhere I can take my dog. I have a 6 month old pit bull mix that I’ve been training to be a service dog. I know that if I go to rehab I’ll be gone for about a year and i’d have to give her up, I can’t do that. Kyia is the main reason I’ve been putting off getting help for so long. I need a place where I can take her with me. Please help, Kyia is all I have, I’ve lost everything, I can’t lose her too….

Impulse Control or Drug Addiction?
Question by Robert Jackson: Impulse control or drug addiction?
[rewrite]Okay, so this is a question to the general community–especially anyone versed in mental health.
Here’s my story, I’m a male teen (17 years old) and I recently went into the ER for a drug overdose. My mental history is this: I was depressed when I was 15, so much so that I ended up in a psychiatric hospital for attempted suicide. I went to therapy for about 6 months and have been feeling happy ever since.
