Turn them in to the cops. Get a restraining order. Move away. DO NOT allow yourself and your child to be victimized by an abuser.

You can’t fix this person, leave and get a protective order. Al-anon can really help. It is a 12 step program for people who’s loved ones are addicts. Leave for your child’s sake.
