Am I Qualified to Get Into Graduate School?

Question by Mackenzie: Am I qualified to get into graduate school?
I just applied to 4 masters programs and am just concerned about my chances. I want to be a substance abuse counselor, and applied to MS counseling, social work, and rehab counseling programs. Can anyone tell me if I’m qualified to get in? I just completed my undergraduate BS in psychology with a sociology minor at Virginia Tech. I graduated a semester early and am using my extra semester interning at a drug rehab. My GPA was 3.58, and in-major was 3.86. My GRE scores were 155 math, 156 verbal, and 4.5 writing. I was involved in two different undergraduate research labs for about a year. I am getting so much anxiety about if I am qualified for grad school. Someone please tell me if I’m smart enough!

Usually a social worker is involved and they do a study to determine which household is more stable and child friendly. Many factors come into play, including parent drug/alcohol abuse, school systems, extended family involvement, child care arrangements, parents and children’s preferences, and many more. Most states have a web site that explain how this works… I don’t remember how I found the one for Delaware when I was looking for info, but I’m sure if you search under __(Your state)__ Child custody laws you’ll find what you need to know.
