How Does One Terminate Parental Rights in CA?
Question by avenger831968: How does one terminate parental rights in CA?
Best answer:
Answer by strike_eagle29
YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT. TERMINATING PARENTAL RIGHTS HAS TO BE OK WITH BOTH PARENTS. IF THE FATHER WANTS TO TERMINATE HIS RIGHTS SO THAT CHILD SUPPORT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PAID THE MOTHER HAS TO OK IT. YOU CAN’T JUST TERMINATE PARENTAL RIGHTS. IF THE MOTHER WANTS TO TERMINATE THE FATHERS RIGHTS BECAUSE THE NEW BOYFRIEND WANTS TO MARRY HER AND ADOPT THE KID THE FATHER HAS TO BE OK WITH IT. ONCE EITHER PARENTS RIGHTS ARE TERMINATED THEY ARE NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. YOU START IN FAMILY COURT. YOU HAVE TO FILE A PETITION. ONCE YOU GO TO THE COURT HOUSE THEY WILL INSTRUCT YOU ON HOW TO GO ABOUT IT.
How to Work With Drug Addicts?
Question by Popcorn: How to work with drug addicts?
I thought of working with drug addicts today, like how would I get to that position? What sort of jobs are available in rehab centers and drug treatment centers? What type of degrees would I need to get?

Answer by ThirtyEightSnub
Education Requirements for a job as a substance abuse counselor depend on the hiring agency. Some counselors have a high school diploma and
certification while others have a bachelor’s degree or
master’s degree. Since some of the best substance
abuse counselors are those who have overcome addiction themselves, this is one of the few jobs
where a degree from the school of hard knocks can
outweigh university schooling. Counselors with more
education will be trusted with less immediate
supervision and licensed counselors can provide
one-on-one counseling.

It is the formulation of an approach which encompasses both therapeutic rehabilitation as well as the managing of physiological repercussions which manifests as those symptoms most associate with detoxing or withdrawal from the drug(s).
