Question by : medical marijuana license?
Well… I live in Virginia.. I have only heard of these things existing in California..
I suffer from depression and anxiety.. I smoke pot for medicinal purposes, only when I feel down in the dumps and/or overly anxious. I find that it helps me relax, concentrate on things better, and even help me smile and laugh(my depression makes me fake it otherwise) I have tried talking to my therapist about it and other adults in my life, but they all say the same thing.. POT IS A DRUG-BLAH BLAH BLAHHH, I however, disagree.. I feel no addiction and can stop whenever I want, I have plenty friends who smoke but I do not smoke for the same reasons most of them do—->(friends: dude, pot is awesome everybody needs to smoke to bring peace to the world etc, etc, and more hippie like things). I have been prescribed xanax and other drugs to help, but marijuana is the only thing that seems to truly help me with these problems I’m experiencing..
I had a rough childhood and have been through allot. I dont smoke for the hell of it, or to ‘be cool’
My question is, how can I get a legit doctor to prescribe me this stuff and/or give me a license for it-so I dont feel like a criminal for doing something that honestly helps me with these chronic problems, what kind of doc. do i go to for this kind of ordeal, and is there a doc. in my area who can do this..
