Who Should I Donate To?

Question by Tyler: Who should I donate to?
This year, I am deciding to donate about 1% of my total income for the year. I made about $ 5000 this year so that equates to about $ 50. I have a few organizations I am considering donating to, I just am not sure. I’m 17, and I just like donating, volunteering, and giving back to the community.

1.) MAPS-Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, this group studies medical applications of psychedelic substances for treating PTSD, drug addiction, mood/mental disorders, cancer, HIV, AIDS, glaucoma, etc.
2.) NORML- National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Organization that seeks to decriminalize/legalize marijuana in the United States
3.) HIV/AIDS- Considering donating to an HIV/AIDS organization or clinic.
4.) National Leukimia and Lymphoma Society
5.) Gay Rights Group- Human Rights Campaign, or some local LGBT rights organization/group in Virginia.

Any suggestions?
