Would You Consider Heroin Addiction as One of the Pressing Problems of American Society?
Question by alisia t: Would you consider heroin addiction as one of the pressing problems of American society?
[rewrite]I was just wondering about this since I remembered an article that I read in a magazine about how a fairly large percentage of Americans are getting rehabilitated for heroin use every year. I always seem to hear about someone who has just gone out of rehab, or is going to be rehabilitated. I was planning on writing an article on this for our school paper, maybe it would help enlighten other students and stop them from using heroin. Your ideas and input will be very much appreciated.

Yes, I think that heroin addiction is a serious problem in America. Heroin causes serious health conditions, various infections, HIV/AIDS, and could prove to be fatal. How will America function as a healthy society if a large percentage of its inhabitants are drug addicted? And it’s not just heroin, either. How about the others suffering from cocaine addiction? Or alcohol addiction?
Good luck on your article. If you want more information, just visit the links I’ve included below. Hope that helps.
